We’d like to wish Gary Middlehurst and his OMG ‘Troop’ from The Bricklayers Arms at Stondon Massey the very best of luck as they set off today for Arnhem on their charity trek.

Raising money for Help for Heroes and The Parachute Regiment Charity, the group will yomp across Belgium and Holland.  They’ll cross the 7 historic bridges targeted by Allied Forces, carrying 70lb field packs on a 75 mile route to commemorate the 70th anniversary of World War II Operation Market Garden.

They’ll be taking with them some bottles of OMG, the beer we brewed specially for them.  Donations from the sale of OMG will be made to the group’s two chosen charities.

The Bricklayers Arms will welcome back the weary wanderers on Sunday evening where they’ll no doubt enjoy recounting tales of their exploits over a nice pint of Brentwood Beer.
