It is with regret that the Oktoberfest planned for this Saturday at Brentwood Brewery will NOT be going ahead due to circumstances beyond our control. Anyone who bought tickets will receive a full refund.
We apologise for cancelling at such short notice. The latest changes to Covid-19 restrictions have made it impossible for us to continue with the event.
Organiser Jon Cloke of Brentwood-Landkreis Roth Town Twinning Association said: “The announcement of further Covid-19 regulations on Tuesday and the promise of further extensions today, together with a requirement for a Covid-19 Risk Assessment that we could not possibly complete in three days, meant that the Oktoberfest became unworkable.”
Our bar, The Tap Room and the Brewery Shop, which are currently outdoors only, will be open on Friday and Saturday as usual from noon to 4pm for table service only. Booking in advance is advisable but not essential. Please be advised that anyone wishing to use our toilet facilities (inside the brewery) must wear a face covering or mask.
There is some good news. We still have plenty of Brentwood and Elephant School Beer for you to enjoy outside the brewery or to takeaway. Plus, for a limited time, we have some German style beer too.
So do come along and be waited on!
