Remember Ale Mary – the Brentwood Beer promoting Shenfield Operatic Society’s show Sister Act?  We’re planning another collaborative beer with SOPS.  This time it’s to celebrate their next production, Oklahoma! with another fabulous Brentwood Beer.  The brew needs an appropriate name so this competition has been launched to find one.  Entries are welcomed from anyone aged 18 or over.   Send your entries to Shenfield Operatic Society.  They must be received by 31st October.

The winner will receive two complimentary tickets to see Oklahoma! at Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch on 10th or 11th February 2016 as well as a gift pack of four bottles of the yet to be named Brentwood Beer.  The  ale is full-bodied with light hop and malt flavours which leave a pleasant end note.  It should be ready in time for the Lighting Up Brentwood event on Saturday 28th November.

The brewery will be donating 10 pence from the sale of each bottle or pint of Oklahoma! beer to First Step, registered charity number 1106002.

Shenfield Operatic Society & Brentwood Brewing Company Oklahoma! Beer Name Competition Rules

• The beer name must represent Oklahoma! the musical.
• ?  The name must fit the beer label, so cannot be more than 20 characters long (including spaces between words).
• ?  Only one entry per person.
• ?  All entrants must be 18 or over with valid ID.
• ?  All entries must be received by 31st October 2015.
• ?  If the beer name chosen as the winner has been entered by more than one person, entries will go into a hat and the winning one will be drawn by the judging panel.
• ?  Judges’ decision is final. No communications will be entered into.

The winner will notified by email or phone during the first week of November.
