Shenfield Operatic Society’s quest to find a suitable name for the Brentwood Beer they brewed with us to promote their latest production, Sister Act, is over.  The beer is to be called Ale Mary.  A panel of five judges from the society and the brewery unanimously decided on the winning name which was supplied by two competition entrants – Maria Coston of Writtle and Matthew Woods from Brentwood.  They both win a case of delicious Brentwood Brewing Company Ale Mary beer and a pair of tickets to see the show at Queen’s Theatre, Hornchurch between 25th and 28th February 2015.  Congratulations to Maria and Matthew.  Ale Mary is available in bottles from the brewery now and from Calcott Hall Farm Shop very soon.
