The 44th Cambridge Beer Festival runs from 22 – 27 May on Jesus Green, Cambridge. Run by CAMRA volunteers, it’s one of the largest beer festivals in the UK and the longest running CAMRA beer festival.
There will be a wide range of beers of all styles from the UK and around the world, as well as cider, perry, mead and wine. Draught Brentwood Beers available at the festival are:
BBC 1 1.5% Light brown in colour, loads of flavours bursting on the palate from the mix of Columbus, Chinook, Citra and Cascade hops. Ridiculously drinkable.
Chockwork Orange 6.5% A deep chocolate malty beer brewed with oranges to give it that extra pizazz and matured to provide a classic old ale style beer.
Vanilla Maple Mild 3.7% Pours dark brown with a small offwhite head. Aroma of roasted malt, little caramel, light vanilla. Flavor is sweet, malty, caramel, vanilla essence, sweet chocolate. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, sweet finish.
