If excuses are ever needed to visit a pub, here’s an ideal one. Everyone’s being encouraged to visit their local during British Pub Week, which runs from today, 28th October to 5th November.
The event is being held to celebrate one of the nation’s finest and much loved institutions, the Great British pub, and to recognise the role pubs play in serving local communities.
At Brentwood Brewery we agree that our wonderful, local pubs need to be cherished and supported which is why we like to showcase a different one each month in our Pub of the Month feature.
Our Pubs of the Month this year are:
The Eagle at Kelvedon Hatch
The Hutton Junction
The Hare, Roxwell
The Rising Sun
The Willow, Doddinghurst
The Fox and Goose, Cooksmill Green
The Castle, Great Leighs
The Fatling, Hornchurch
The Folly, East Hanningfield
These features appear in the brewery’s monthly Community News page in the Brentwood Gazette. A short version also appears in the Beery News, the brewery’s monthly newsletter. These articles can also be found by searching the Brewery Blog and selecting the Pub of the Month category.
