The long-awaited Shenfield Operatic Society show, Sister Act, is underway at The Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch.  It runs until tomorrow night, Saturday.  Even more good news, you can find Brentwood Beer refreshment amongst the offerings at the theatre’s bar.  Ale Mary to that.  It’s the beer, named by competition, those unruly nuns brewed with us to promote their show, before rehearsals even started.

Curtain up for Sister Act was on Wednesday and those busy nuns have been singing, dancing and acting on that Hornchurch stage every day since.  Surely they’ll have earned themselves an Ale Mary or two by closing night?

If you haven’t got tickets, you may have missed the show (check with Shenfield Operatic Society first in case they have spare seats)  but there’s still time to try some Ale Mary.  We have bottles for sale in the Brewery Shop – whilst stocks last.
