Generous Christmas beer festival goers who watched Brentwood Brewery’s free Christmas Panto have raised £160 for Warley-based, Essex children’s charity, Special Needs and Parents (SNAP).
“Top hats off to the talented team at Brentwood Brewery for raising funds and awareness for SNAP in such an entertaining way.
Michelle Andrews, SNAP’s Events and Marketing Manager
“The brewery’s community spirit is an inspiration and their continued support for our charity is greatly appreciated by the SNAP team and the thousands of families that fundraising like this helps to make a difference to.”
The panto, The Drunkest Showman, was performed at the brewery’s Christmas Beer Festival (7th December) by a cast comprising of the brewery team, the Kannor family and some good friends. The family-friendly show was written by MD Roland Kannor’s youngest son, Ralph.
As well as scripting the production and adapting the lyrics to a handful of songs from The Greatest Showman, Ralph played the lead role and directed the show.

Special mention to Ralph Kannor for his screenwriting, composing, directing and acting skills – Hugh Jackman would be impressed!
SNAP ambassador Penny Hollington, joined the panto cast, playing the key role of Buddy the Devil, an evil lager rep.
Head Brewer Ethan Kannor
“SNAP is a good cause very close to all our hearts. We know first hand what wonderful work the charity undertakes, working with and supporting the families of children with special needs or disabilities as they have helped us and my son Oakley.”
“We’re looking forward to more fun and fundraising with another brewery production this year.
Our thanks to everyone who came along to support the Christmas Beer Festival and Panto and all those who generously made voluntary donations to SNAP charity.”
MD Roland Kannor
