Brentwood Brewery’s Head Brewer, Ethan Kannor, has been working on ideas and recipes to create a special festival beer for this year’s Brentwood Festival. It’s called BFG or Brentwood Festival Gold 4.2% ABV.
He did have a little help from Brentwood Festival Co-ordinator, Laurie Edmonds and brewery MD, Roland Kannor who helped to pick out the malt and hop flavours to make BFG the ideal, easy-drinking, summer festival ale.

BFG 4.2% ABV is a big, flavoursome, golden beer – the perfect refreshment for thirsty Brentwood Festival-goers. It will be available at The Brentwood Festival (15th – 17th July) and can be previewed at The White Horse Beer Festival in Coxtie Green this Bank Holiday Weekend (27th – 30th May).
