Roland, Ethan and Ralph Kannor of Brentwood Brewing Company, joined by The Earl of Brentwood, were delighted to be invited along to the launch of The Merchant pub.
Formerly the Litten Tree, the pub in Brentwood High Street has undergone a huge make-over. It re-opened with a champagne reception for invited guests last night, re-named The Merchant.
Obviously there was plenty of real ale there too. Helping to get the celebrations underway in true Brentwood-style was a 3.7% ABV beer brewed by us, aptly named, Merchant.
Roland said: “We’d like to wish landlord Paul Marshall and his team at The Merchant all the best.
“Obviously we’re delighted to supply a special beer for the pub’s opening and hope ale enthusiasts will try a pint of Merchant at The Merchant. Look out for the unique, unusual, dark-wood pump clip.”
Dean of Brentwood Brewing Company was also at the party – yet strangely never seen in the same room as The Earl of Brentwood.
